Please be advised that Bylaw 29-2020 Fire Services Bylaw has eliminated the requirement to obtain a sale and discharge permit for consumer and family fireworks (retail fireworks).
Despite this bylaw change, caution when discharging fireworks during high risk fire season is still highly recommended. Always adhere to manufacturer’s recommendations for safe discharge requirements.
