Ample Ways to Enjoy the Great Outdoors

The County owns and operates three campgrounds and an outdoor education centre. Campgrounds open for overnight reservations on May 1, after which you can contact each campground directly via the information below. During the off season (September 30 through April 30), contact the County at 780.785.3411.

Interested in a 2022 seasonal campsite?

The process for 2022 seasonal sites at the Lessard Lake Public Campground, the Paddle River Dam Campground – Peter’s Pond Area, and the Paddle River Dam Campground – Boat Launch Area has now been finalized by County Council. Seasonal site booking opportunities include:

Lessard Lake Public Campground

  • A maximum of 25 power/water sites will be available for seasonal patrons (same as 2021)
  • Reservations open Monday, October 4

Paddle River Dam Campground (Peter’s Pond area)

  • A maximum of 30 power/water sites available for seasonal patrons (5 sites added in 2021)
  • Reservations open Monday, October 4

Paddle River Dam Campground (Boat Launch area)

  • A maximum of 15 power/water/sewer sites for seasonal patrons (5 sites added in 2021)
