Thinking of taking part in this year's Capture the County photo contest — either by submitting your photos or voting for your favourites? Let's start by covering the basic ground rules.

Official 2023 Contest Rules and Regulations are as follows:

This contest is hosted each year by Lac Ste. Anne County
You must be a Lac Ste. Anne County resident in order to enter
Lac Ste. Anne County employees, representatives, or agents (and those with whom such persons are living, whether related or not) are excluded from this contest
Entrants have a chance at winning one of twelve $100.00 prizes, or one $250 grand prize for the chosen cover image on the 2024 calendar. In addition to their prize money, each winner will also receive 10 copies of the calendar
Submissions are open between September 1 and September 29, 2023
To qualify, photos must be taken within the Lac Ste. Anne County boundaries
A maximum of 3 photos/participant may be submitted via email to communications@LSAC.ca along with a pdf copy of the signed photo release form. The deadline for submissions is 4:30 pm. Friday, September 29, 2023. Please send JPG or TIF photos (min. 300 dpi, or 3600 x 2700 pixels in LANDSCAPE format and in full colour).
Photo submissions will be posted on our social media channels, where the public will choose their favourites
Voting will take place October 10 – 20, 2023
