Essential to our region's strong social fabric, the Community Services department manages programs, services and facilities designed to enhance the quality of life of residents in the Lacc Ste. Anne region.
Now more than ever the County recognizes the importance of maintaining healthy rural communities by supporting practical, sustainble projects and programs to the net benefit of all.

Each tax season, the County provides tax prep assistance via its Community Volunteer Income Tax Program (CVITP).

Volunteers are here to help you in prepare your annual tax return. Review household income thresholds and other criteria to see if you qualify.

Tax Help

The Community Volunteer Income Tax Program is a partnership between the Canada Revenue Agency and Community Organizations which host tax preparation clinics and arrange for volunteers to prepare income tax and benefit returns for eligible individuals.

Senior Independence

The Lac Ste. Anne County Family & Community Support Services (FCSS) Home Support initiative provides support to seniors’ 65 years and older who are residents of Lac Ste. Anne County, and who are in need of light housekeeping services.

Onoway Playschool


Each Spring, County Family & Community Support Services (FCSS) accepts registrations for the Onoway Playschool Program, running from early September to the end of May. Financial assistance can be provided to eligible low-and middle-income families.
