2020 Camping Season Date Changes
Due to public safety concerns and provincial restrictions related to the COVID-19 pandemic, County-owned campgrounds, parks and public spaces opened later than usual in 2020. Please note that reservations have opened effective June 1, 2020. Reservations can be made by calling the respective caretaker(s) of the facility you wish to visit.
The Lessard Lake Public Campground and Paddle River Dam Campground (Peter’s Pond) opened to seasonal patrons June 1. Effective June 5, these campgrounds will also open to overnight patrons June 5th and finally that Paddle River Dam Campground (Boat Launch) is tentatively set to open to overnight patrons June 12.
No seasonal patrons are allowed in the Boat Launch loop.
As we head to County campgrounds to enjoy the sights, sounds and fresh air, let's all remain mindful of the simple rules like maintaining our distance and practicing good hand hygiene.
