About Nick

Nick began his professional career as a lineman for ATCO many moons ago. In fact, he was the company’s youngest Lead Lineman; work that he truly loved. Over time he would work his way to the position of Regional Operations Manager for southern Alberta where he was accountable for a $10.5 million operating budget, and a capital budget over $45 million. This level of fiscal oversight comes in handy at the Council table.

Having first been elected to County Council in 2017, Nick regularly relies on the deep and diverse expertise of his fellow Councillors, achieving milestones and making headway through uncertain times. Under Nick's watch, the County has rebuilt bruised intermunicipal relationships; introduced service efficiencies; helped local businesses prosper; and attracted new industry through collaborative economic development initiatives.

Notably, Nick has worked with his fellow councillors to breathe new life into the Onoway Regional Medical Clinic to the benefit of the communities in the Lac Ste. Anne region.
