About Kevin

Kevin Lovich is the 3rd generation resident of the community of Cherhill. Educated in the local school system, Kevin went on after high school to study at NAIT. After earning his Journeyperson Electrician certification he has worked in various roles in the agricultural industry.

Kevin and his wife Kim raised their family of four children on the Lovich homestead while farming and managing off-farm employment. Although no longer actively farming – he continues to support his extended family in the industry when needed.

Being community-minded, Kevin knows that the strength of a community lies in its volunteers. For this reason, he has taken on many roles in local clubs and associations over the years. This includes the Cherhill Community Association, Minor Sports, and 4-H. These experiences have given him a great skillset – he's not afraid to ask the tough questions to get to the heart of a matter or roll up his sleeves to get a job done.

As the newest member of Council, he now puts his trade, agricultural knowledge, and home-grown community spirit to great use in his role on Council and committee appointments.
