Photography & Video Requests (internal or external)

Please note that due to capacity, we would ask that photos be taken by any staff member and forwarded to communications for social media purposes wherever possible. Be certain to include photo release forms as applicable and avoid photos that include youth under 18 years of age. Also denote who is in the photograph and who should be acknowledged. Photos and information can be emailed to communications@LSAC.ca. Advance notice is appreciated.

In the case of video requests or larger events requiring photography, these requests will be outsourced. We would ask that you request a meeting to discuss your requirements a min. of 3 weeks prior to an event so we can make arrangements as needed and verify budgetary considerations.

Urgent or Non-standard Communications Requests

Urgent/non-standard requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Generally speaking, these requests pertain to critical, unforeseen needs for design, copywriting and related strategic communications.

Before submitting this form, if you have an urgent request, please consider contacting the Communications team directly for quicker assistance. If your request is not urgent, please submit via this portal.

Non-urgent requests normally take 3-5 business days to action, depending on the quantity of other department requests coming in at the same time. New forms being requested may take longer due to the design process. Please provide clarity for your request as to who should see your message, any considerations about potential conflicts of interests or issues of concern, and the intended goal or outcome of your request. Be as specific as possible.

Bulletin Publishing Considerations

*PLEASE NOTE: The deadline for submissions is Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. (for the issue that will be printed the following Monday). No exceptions.

When prepping content for the weekly Bulletin, statutory notices like discretionary permits or public hearing notices take priority. Other news items will then be added as requested by each department.

Also note that events or information items will appear only twice in the Bulletin (unless there is a special exception such as a by-election) and content provided will be edited to fit space available.
