About Jill

Councillor Jill Stoney has proudly called Lac Ste. Anne County home for the past eight years. She brings a diverse background to Council, having worked as an Early Childhood Educator and a local School Bus Driver.

Inspired to run for Council by a community member, Councillor Stoney is dedicated to serving residents with heart and practical insight. She’s passionate about the rural farm-to-table lifestyle and extends these values to her family life through gardening, raising livestock, and teaching self-sufficiency and resilience. As an active member to the Sangudo Agricultural Society, she has enjoyed volunteering with local events including the popular Summer Fest music festival.

When not attending to Council duties or community appointments, you’ll find Jill enjoying spending time with her family on their farm in the Sangudo area.
