About Dale

Deputy Reeve Dale Johnson is a long-time community leader and business owner hailing from the Rich Valley area. He brings experience in agriculture, business operations, and public administration to Council.

Deputy Reeve Johnson is formally trained in Administrative Justice, giving him a strong foundation in fair, transparent, and defensible decision-making. He has served in public-sector roles including as Health Authority Board Member, Tribunal Chair for the Persons with Developmental Disabilities Program, and board Member of the Alberta Motor Vehicle Industry Council. He has also contributed to regional planning and infrastructure development through the Feeder Associations of Alberta and the Edmonton Regional Planning Commission.

On Council, Dale focusses on transparency, fairness, and responsible stewardship, working to support sound governance, fair taxation, and the long-term sustainability of rural communities.
