Councillor Barry Voltner has lived in Lac Ste. Anne County for the past 17 years, after previously residing in the Parkland region. He is married to his wife, Tammy, and is a proud stepfather of three, and grandfather to nine grandchildren—two of whom live locally in Onoway.

Councillor Voltner brings an entrepreneurial background to Council, having successfully owned and operated businesses before selling them to focus on serving the County. He strongly believes in accountability and teamwork and is committed to helping build a well-run municipality that supports residents and families.

Outside of Council responsibilities, Barry enjoys an active outdoor lifestyle, including hunting, hiking, camping, and recreational riding. He values time spent with family and friends and the sense of community and companionship that comes from gathering around a good campfire.
