Sustaining Riparian Health: Agricultural Management Strategies & Tools Workshop
Workshop to be held Feb. 23 at 12 p.m.; $10 per person
The health of riparian areas is crucial for sustainable agricultural practices and preserving natural resources. To address this important issue, a workshop on riparian stewardship will be held to share agricultural management strategies and tools for maintaining healthy riparian areas.
The workshop will cover a range of topics, including the use of Google Earth as a grazing and farm management tool, riparian management principles and practices such as grazing management, cropland buffers, and beaver management, as well as an overview of riparian health assessment results in Lac Ste. Anne County. Additionally, attendees will have the opportunity to share their own ideas and case studies, as well as participate in one-on-one time and small group discussions.
