The County is committed to strengthening transparency, accessibility, and community engagement during Council proceedings. To support this goal, we've introduced two key enhancements that make it easier than ever for residents to stay informed and share their perspectives.

Council Meeting Recordings Now Available Online

Residents can now watch full recordings of Council Meetings at their convenience. Each meeting is posted on the County's official YouTube channel within a day or so following the meeting. To view the most recent session, simply visit the channel and select the latest Council Meeting video you wish to view. This new offering ensures that anyone—regardless of scheduling can keep up with local decisions, discussions, and initiatives.

Public Input Sessions Added to All Regular Meetings
Each regular Council Meeting and Governance & Priorities Meeting will include a dedicated Public Input Session following the adoption of the agenda. This new standing item gives residents a consistent and accessible opportunity to speak directly to Council.

During these sessions, individuals can provide comments, raise local concerns, or share feedback on community matters. Council's aim in creating this format is to make meetings more accessible, ecourage participation, and support a transparent decision-making process.

Together, these improvements help create a more open, accountable, and community-focussed local government. We encourage residents to take advantage of both opportunities—tune in online, attend in person, and be a part of shaping the future of Lac Ste. Anne County.
