The County understands the importance of a smooth transition of ownership for farmers and business owners. To help navigate this process, the County will be hosting a workshop with a panel of experts to discuss financial, legal, and tax strategies for succession planning.

The workshop will feature Kelly Robinson, a Senior Relationship Manager and Financial Solutions Advisor at Servus Credit Union in Whitecourt, Dean Hendrickson, a Partner at Hendrickson Black Chartered Professional Accountants in Mayerthorpe, and Brieanne MacLeod, an Associate Lawyer with Birdsell Grant LLP Barristers and Solicitors in Stony Plain and Whitecourt. These experts will provide valuable insights and strategies for a smooth transition of ownership.
