May 15 marks the start of the camping season in Lac Ste. Anne County.
As outdoor enthusiasts gear up for one of the most anticipated times of the year, the County-managed campgrounds have begun to take bookings. Reserve your spot well in advance to avoid disappointment!
With its stunning lakes, winding rivers, and peaceful woodlots, the County is home to some of the region’s most beloved summer destinations.
Whether you are seeking a quiet weekend by the water or an action-packed family getaway, our County-managed campgrounds offer a diverse range of experiences for every type of camper.
Your Next Adventure Awaits
This season, the County invites residents and visitors alike to rediscover the natural beauty of its four primary County-owned sites:
- Lessard Lake Public Campground: A favourite for families, this scenic spot offers both serviced and unserviced lots. Campers can spend their days fishing and canoeing or enjoying the onsite play park and horseshoe pits. With 30-amp electrical service, water hook-ups, and modern amenities like token-operated showers and laundry, it’s the perfect balance of nature and convenience.
- Paddle River Dam Campground (Boat Launch & Peter’s Pond): For those who love life on the water, the Paddle River Dam is the place to be. Boasting excellent opportunities for water sports, motorized boating, and hiking, it’s a nature lover’s paradise. The site features a fish-cleaning station for your daily catch and large group sites for those travelling with friends.
- Sangudo Riverside Campground: Nestled along the banks of the Pembina River, this campground offers a unique blend of relaxation and excitement. Guests can float down the river in the afternoon and enjoy the nearby stock car race track, skateboard park, or ball diamonds. It’s a community hub where peace and quiet meet high-octane fun.

First Night's Fee Due at Booking
To confirm your reservation, please be prepared to pay the first night’s fees at the time of booking. This helps ensure that sites remain available for all who wish to enjoy the beauty of Lac Ste. Anne County this summer.
Due to high demand, reservations are handled directly by our dedicated Campground Caretakers via phone. Please note that during peak times, call volumes can be high; if you reach a voicemail, please leave a message, and a caretaker will return your call in the order it was received.
