County Begins Kilini Creek Bridge Construction Southeast of Onoway
The County is undertaking culvert replacement work to the existing bridge over Kilini Creek on Township Road 541, southeast of Onoway.
The current bridge structure, which was installed in 1961, is in poor condition and requires replacement. The work requires road closure and will present delays to motorists.
Construction is expected to occur during the months of July and August. Construction activities are anticipated to take place between the hours of 7 am and 7 pm daily.
A complete road closure of Township Road 541 between Range Road 15 and Range Road 20 will be in effect from Tuesday, July 2 until project completion.
Work includes the removal and disposal of the existing bridge structure, excavation, the installation of a Structural Plate Corrugated Steel Pipe, backfilling, and related road work.
