Council Approves Earlier Start Time for Regular Meetings

County Council and Municipal Planning Commission meetings will begin 30 minutes earlier following Council's approval of a change to its regular meeting schedule.

At its September 10 meeting, Council approved moving the start time for both County Council and Municipal Planning Commission meetings from 9:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. The new schedule takes effect with the September 24, 2026, County Council meeting.

The change is intended to streamline meeting operations and will apply to all future County Council and Municipal Planning Commission meetings unless otherwise directed by Council. Residents planning to attend or follow meetings are encouraged to note the new 9:00 a.m. start time.
