Celebrating Seniors’ Week in our Community
June 1–7 has been officially proclaimed as Seniors’ Week, recognizing the valuable contributions of seniors—past, present, and future. County Reeve, Jurgen Preugschas has proudly declared this week as a time to honour the wisdom, experience, and enduring spirit of older adults. Every stage of life enriches the story of who we are, both as individuals and as a community, and Seniors’ Week invites us to celebrate that sentiment together.
Seniors shape our community in countless ways. They are builders, storytellers, caregivers, innovators, and leaders. Their resilience and generosity continue to strengthen the place we call home, and this week gives us a meaningful opportunity to express our gratitude.
