Lac Ste. Anne County advises that the Public Hearing previously scheduled to consider proposed amendments to Land Use Bylaw 22-2017 has been cancelled.

Land Use Bylaw 22‑2017 is the County’s primary document governing development permit applications, approvals, enforcement, and land‑use definitions. The proposed amendments were intended to improve customer service, make application and review processes clearer and more efficient, streamline internal workflows, and better support future growth and development.

Following further administrative review, the County has determined that the proposed amendments require additional refinement. Administration will be recommending that Council rescind First Reading of the proposed amending Bylaw 22-2017-04-2026 and at a later date, present a new amending bylaw for Council’s consideration.

As a result, the Public Hearing will not proceed as previously advertised.

Should Council give First Reading to an amending bylaw in the future, a new Public Hearing will be scheduled and advertised in accordance with the Municipal Government Act.

Lac Ste. Anne County appreciates the public’s understanding and apologizes for any inconvenience.
