Thanks to everyone who submitted - and voted for - photos for the County’s Capture the County photo contest! Voting is closed, and the winners will be announced soon. Please bear with us as we verify the votes and check the photos.

Winners will receive $100, and their photos will be featured in the 2021 County calendar that's published at the end of the contest. The top-voted pics win the contest, provided they meet the submission requirements as specified in the contest rules.

Submit your best County photos by October 8 for your chance to win!

Submissions were ranked in three categories: Faces We Love, Things to Do, and Places to See. In addition to vote count, winning photos meet minimum quality standards outlined on this page.

Vote Count

In order to qualify, photos must have been submitted at a resolution of at least 3600 x 2700 pixels in TIFF or JPEG file formats. Other conditions apply as stipulated in the contest regulations. Images must also be in landscape format (hotrizontal), and be in colour.

Size, Format and Quality of Submissions

In order to qualify, photos must have been submitted at a resolution of at least 3600 x 2700 pixels in TIFF or JPEG file formats. Other conditions apply as stipulated in the contest regulations. Images must also be in landscape format (hotrizontal), and be in colour.

Voting Irregularities

For this year's contest, the County allowed users to cast multiple votes for the same photo (within reason). Because some people vote from offices and public spaces, voting was not restricted by IP address. The honour system is in place, but obvious voting irregularities will be flagged during the image selection process.

The Fine Print

All photos submitted in the 2021 Cature the County Photo Contest become the property of Lac Ste. Anne County. The names and identities of the submitters may be revealed therein by descriptive text or commentary.
