County Administration Office Closed to the Public

In accordance with heightened provincewide COVID-19 restrictions, and in consideration of public health, the Lac Ste. Anne County Administration Office and satellite County offices has closed to the public effective Friday, May 7. Where feasible, the County has transitioned staff to remote work environments.

Until further notice, working from home is mandatory for County staff unless an employee's physical presence is required to meet operational needs. Staff have been advised to avoid all in-person meetings.

The safety of citizens and staff remains the County’s top priority. These messages will be sent to the appropriate departments for review and response on a priority basis.

County Meetings and Public Hearings

The Government of Alberta’s Public Meeting Procedures (COVID-19 Suppression) Regulation remains in effect to allow Council meetings to be conducted by entirely electronic means to help control the spread of COVID-19. All attendees of meetings held in person must wear masks and socially distance, as required by public health orders.

County Council meetings will be hosted via Zoom to facilitate remote attendance and presentation. Please visit for more information on remote viewing and participation options for these meetings. The County is in the process of establishing phone-in and videoconferencing alternatives to other upcoming meetings. Any new meeting protocols and accesses will be posted to the County’s website and social channels.

Service Levels

All essential services such as road maintenance, water refill stations and transfer station access continue to be provided and remain open. County Enforcement Officers will remain on duty and patrolling the communities.

All County services will still be delivered as normal at this time, other than direct contact with County Staff. Service will continue through phone calls, email, facsimile, regular mail and via our drop box at the County office.
