Lac Ste. Anne County today issued a Fire Advisory in effect for the County, as of 11:00 am, August 31, 2022 – until further notice.
The Fire Hazard Rating for Lac Ste. Anne County is High
With continued hot and dry conditions, the County will NOT be authorizing any new Fire Permits until further notice.
Currently issued Fire Permits for burning and any burn barrels, cooking or warming fires in approved fire pits will be allowed at this time; however, please use with extreme caution. Existing Fire Permits will not be granted extensions while the Fire Advisory is in effect, and no new lighting of piles is allowed.
Please report any wildfire to 9-1-1 with exact location to assist Lac Ste. Anne County Fire Personnel in locating and extinguishing these fires in a timely fashion. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.
