How County Roads are Cared For

Regardless of the season, maintaining municipal roadways is a huge undertaking. Learn more about where the County's road maintenance responsibilities end and provincial or private responsibilities begin.

As a public service-oriented department, Lac Ste. Anne County’s Public Works precedence is to provide quality, effective and efficient service delivery to all of our County residents. Please note that Lac Ste. Anne County is only responsible for the maintenance of all Township and Range Roads. We do not have jurisdiction on any Highways or Secondary Highways.

Alberta Transportation and their contractors are responsible for the following highways: 18, 22, 33, 37, 43, 633, 642, 654, 757, 764 and 765.
