Rural Beautification Contest 2019

The Rural Beautification Contest has been running since 2008 and every year a new group of interesting yards are nominated.

County Horticulturist Lorraine Taylor “It is such a delight to meet gardeners and have the opportunity to visit their yards. The Beautification Contest is a way to find people we’ve not met and to acknowledge how their work makes the County a better place to live.”

Friends and neighbours are invited to make nominations. Homeowners are welcome to nominate their own yards.

The 2019 Rural Beautification Contest showcases the horticultural expertise of our residents.
