Range Road 20 Construction - ROAD Closed

 

Beginning May 20, Range Road 20 will be closed for road construction and repairs. During the road closure, only local traffic, fire trucks, ambulances and school buses will be accommodated to pass through the construction zone.

 

 

Notice of Construction: Range Road 20

From Township Road 542 (Hwy 633) to Towhship Road 543 (Approx. 1.60 KM)
Grading, Granular Base Course, Asphalt Concrete Pavement and Other Work

On May 29, 2019, Wells Construction, a Division of Lafarge Canada Inc. and its Subcontractor Sureway Construction will start the construction work on Rge Rd 20. The construction work will include road widening, installation of new culverts, seeding, placement of granular base course (GBC) and asphalt concrete pavement (ACP), installation of new signs, and line painting.

Construction Timeline: May 29, 2019 to August 30, 2019
Scope of Work: Grading, GBC, ACP and Other Work
Hours of Work: 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 pm
Road Closure: From Twp Rd 542 (Hwy 633) to Twp Rd 543

The road will be closed during the construction timeline (see Detour Plan). During the road closure, only local traffic, fire trucks, ambulances and school buses will be accommodated to pass through the construction zone.


In our attempt to minimize any inconveniences and hazards to the residents, we request everyone to pay attention to construction signage. We will maintain safe work practices to ensure there is no damage to persons or properties. We also request that all residents maintain a safe buffer from construction activities, and ensure animals and children are kept away from construction site.
