Paddle River Dam Campground Reopens

The County has reopened access to Paddle River Dam Campground and related amenities. This area was closed last week as a precautionary measure, but the overland flooding risk has subsided and the river level forecast looks favourable.

In addition to the campground, amenities including the sani dump, shower facilities and the nearby boat launch are all open and available for public use. Campers are thanked for their patience and adherence to the County's safety precautions during the overland flooding event.

Road Repair Update: July 15

Public Works crews are working to repair damaged County roads as a result of recent overland flooding. Road condition updates will be posted here as they become available.

Surplus Sale: Emergency Service Box

In a closed bid, the County is selling a one-ton aluminum emergency service box designed for light rescue, wildland and multipurpose use. This unit was built by General Body in 2004, and is available for viewing by appointment.
