Harvesting Hemp Seminar

The County of Barrhead, in conjunction with Alberta Agriculture and Forestry, will be conducting a seminar on producer and business opportunities for hemp production. The event will take place Thursday, November 30 at the Glenreagh Hall on 60001 Range Road 35 (just off Hwy 33 North). This free event will run from 1:00 - 4:00 pm.

Those who attend this informative seminar will Learn valuable information first-hand from hemp production experts. The event will cover topics such as how to grow hemp and bring hemp from seed to sale; Legislative changes and ease of applications; different markets for hemp seed and fibre; and business opportunities emerging within this growth sector.
