Participate in the Public Hearing

Interested individuals may attend the public hearing to voice their comments. To schedule an appointment, please contact Stacy Florendo at 780.785.3411. Appointment times shall be in accordance with the Procedures (and Committee) Bylaw #04-2020.

The proposed amendment and/or application may be reviewed during regular business hours at the County Administration Office located at 56521 Range Road 65.

In Plain Language

A landowner/developer has applied to the County to subdivide their land. As a part of the subdivision approval, the new parcel(s) need to be redistricted to meet the Land Use Bylaw. In order to amend the Land Use Bylaw for redistricting, a bylaw must be drafted and a public hearing held first under the provisions of Part 17 of the Municipal Government Act (Sections 216.4, 606, 632, 640 and 692).
