At Harmonic Hills, we offer immersive, land-based education rooted in permaculture, herbalism, and regenerative living.

- Mushroom Alley: Watch how logs and mulch are transformed into gourmet food.
- Passive Dehydrator: See solar energy in action as we preserve the harvest with zero electricity.
- Foraged Farm Snacks: Enjoy a free, delicious wild food snack gathered directly from our hedgerows.
- Cyanotype Sun Printing: Get hands-on with a DIY blend of solar photography chemistry and repurposed farm materials to create your own unique keepsake.

- If you get to Stanger, you went too far – turn around.

RGE RD 64 does not connect straight from HWY 43.
About Open Farm Days
Alberta Open Farm Days is a collaborative, province-wide, two-day event that gives Albertans an opportunity to experience the farm and understand where their food comes from. It is a backstage pass to meet the farmer, experience Agritourism in Alberta, and taste local foods directly from the producer.
Open Farm Days have taken place in Canada for over ten years, starting in the Maritimes and moving West.

In Alberta, Open Farm Day is held during the third weekend in August each year. Their goal is to showcase Alberta’s agriculture and tourism industries in a fun, engaging, and meaningful manner for participants of all ages.

All events must be local in nature (either hosted within the boundaries of Lac Ste. Anne County or in support of a regional public-interest initiative) and must comply with our terms of use.
Lac Ste. Anne County reserves the right to choose which events appear on its community calendar.
The County Does Not Validate User-Submitted Events
When submitting your event, it is your responsibility to ensure the accuracy of your content. The County is not responsible for correcting or maintaining user-submitted content displayed on the Community Calendar.
Community Calendar Terms of Use
Summary
The Community Calendar is a moderated, user-accessible tool for showcasing and promoting community events and activities of interest to Lac Ste. Anne County residents, business owners and visitors. All eligible local events are welcome for inclusion on this calendar.
All events submitted for publication on the Community Calendar are subject to public disclosure under the Access to Information Act. The County reserves the right to restrict, delete or refuse to post any submission that, in its sole opinion, is deemed inappropriate, at any time and without notice.
Submission Approvals
Before an event submission can be published, it must be reviewed by the County for compliance with the Community Calendar terms of use. Decisions on whether or not to add, remove or deny any posting to the Community Calendar shall be made at the sole discretion of the County.
Eligible Events
The following types of events are eligible for inclusion on the community calendar:
- Community meetings and events
- County-sponsored events
- Farmers’ markets within Lac Ste. Anne County
- Not-for-profit organization events
- Multicultural events and celebrations
- Not-for-profit events such as exercise, art and culture classes or meetings open to the community
- Registered not-for-profit and charity fund raisers
Ineligible Events
The following event types are not allowed on the community calendar:
- Any event that is commercial in nature and, in the County’s sole opinion, attempts to advertise, promote or sell products or services of an individual or an individual business
- Any private, for-profit business content
- Contests
- Personal garage sales
- Political events including notices of partisan political gatherings, nomination meetings and constituency events
- Recruitment events
- Regularly-scheduled faith services
Restricted Content
Any submission containing the following content will be disallowed, and the submitter will be banned from the Community Calendar:
- Profane language and content
- Content that promotes, fosters, or perpetuates discrimination on the basis of race, creed, colour, age, religion, gender, marital status, status with regard to public assistance, national origin, physical or mental disability or sexual orientation
- Sexual content or links to sexual content
- Regularly scheduled events (e.g. fitness classes, dance lessons, etc., that are not taking place within a municipal facility)
- Private events such as family reunions, weddings, birthdays, etc.
- Contains spam or advertising
- Content that promotes illegal activities
- Content that promotes particular services, products or political organizations
- Content that promotes individual religions or regularly-scheduled religious services
- Information that may tend to compromise the safety and security of the public or the County
- Content that violates the legal ownership of any other party
- Content that violates any federal, provincial, or municipal statute or regulation, or a bylaw or policy of any member municipality
