Public Hearing - Bylaw 16-2026 - Road Closure a portion of PLAN 1098HW

A formal public hearing as required under the Municipal Government Act (Sections 216.4, 606, 633, 640, and 692) will be held to hear formal presentations on the following proposal:  

Pursuant to the provisions of Section 22 of the Municipal Government Act, Lac Ste. Anne County Council is considering the closure of the undeveloped road plan in accordance with: 

• Schedule “A” of Bylaw 16-2026 and legally described as ALL THAT PORTION OF ROAD (AVENUE) LYING BETWEEN LOT 1 BLOCK 7 PLAN 1098HW AND LOT 4 BLOCK 6 PLAN 1098HW IN PERPENDICULAR WIDTH THROUGHOUT CONTAINING 0.096 HA (0.23 AC) and shown in red on the map below and proposed bylaw.

Should you have any comments or concerns regarding this proposed redistricting application, please submit them to the undersigned by 4:30 p.m. on September 14, 2026.  Alternatively, you may present your comments at the Public Hearing Scheduled for September 24, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at the County Administration Office.

Although registering to speak is not required, anyone wishing to present/speak in support of or in opposition to the proposed redistricting application is encouraged to register in advance by contacting Amy Roberts, Planning and Development Manager at 780.785.3411. 

Presentations may be made in person or virtually via Zoom. Individuals wishing to present/speak online should contact Amy Roberts to obtain the direct presenter link.

Speaking times for all presenters, whether participating in person or online, shall be in accordance with the Meeting Procedures Bylaw #09-2026 which provides a maximum of five (5) minutes per speaker.
