Just like in-person meetings, members of the public who wish to address Council during a Public Input Session are required to register with the CAO, or designate, in advance, whether attending in-person or via online.
Addressing County Council
All citizens are welcome to attend Council meetings and take part in the County's democratic process.
Should you wish to address Council during a Public Input Session, you are required to register with the CAO, or designate, in advance, whether attending in-person or via online.
Meeting Agendas and Minutes
Meeting agendas are made available via the County's agenda portal. County Council, Municipal Planning Commission (MPC) and Agricultural Service Board (ASB) meeting minute documents are attached to legacy calendar entries, and are also archived in the Meeting Minutes section of the County website.
For digital or hard copies of minutes and other legacy documents introduced before Council, please contact Legislative Services at 780.785.3411 (toll-free 1.866.880.5722) or email [email protected]. Copying and administration charges may apply.
The Municipal Government Act states that minutes will be taken without note or comment per Section 208(1)(a). The Chief Administrative Officer must ensure that all minutes of Council meetings are recorded in the English language, without note or comment.
