Environmental Stewardship News


Alberta Agriculture and Forestry’s (AF) Environmental Stewardship Branch (ESB) provides up-to-date and relevant information about sustainable agriculture extension programs.




ESB staff work with industry to identify opportunities for new applied research and collaborate through environmental stewardship on topics such as sustainability solutions and public trust. Part of ESB is the AF Farm Stewardship Centre (FSC), located in Lethbridge. Staff at the FSC focus on agri-environmental topics such as On-Farm Energy Management, Beneficial Management Practices (BMPs), developing and evaluating potential BMPs and weather monitoring.

About the County

Founded in 1944, Lac Ste. Anne County is a municipal district in central Alberta, Canada. It is located in Census Division 13, roughly 45 minutes northwest of Edmonton. The County's administrative office is located at 56521 Range Road 65. Its namesake comes from its largest body of water, Lac Ste. Anne.
