Throughout the month of October, ratepayers are invited to participate in a quick online survey focused on the County’s 2019 budget. Which programs should be prioritized? How should your tax dollars be spent? How should service levels be modified in the next budget cycle?

Finance

The Finance team’s most significant milestone between 2016 and 2017 was the implementation of substantive improvements to the budget process. The 2017 budget process developed a funded multi-year capital infrastructure plan that helps expand our capital perspective to a ten-year outlook, ensuring that the urgencies of today don’t overshadow the long-term needs of the community.

Fire & Emergency

Lac Ste. Anne County Fire Services is steadfastly dedicated to the protection, preservation and restoration of public safety across the region.

Public Works

The Public Works division provides essential engineering, operations and maintenance services for those who live, work and play within the region.

Solid Waste & Recycling

Helping residents and business owners across the County process recyclables, organics and garbage via progressive waste management services.

Corporate Services

The Business, information and administrative services that support the other departments in their daily management of Lac Ste. Anne County.

Assessment & Taxation

Each year, the County assesses properties based on the previous year's market values to determine municipal and education tax amounts.

Protective Services

The County employs Community Peace Officers, Bylaw Enforcement Officers and Animal Control Officers to uphold and enforce municipal bylaws.

Community Services

The Community Services Department works to enhance the lives of County residents alike through customized services, programs, grants and guidance.

GIS

Residents, visitors, business owners and municipal neighbours rely on the County's mapping resources to easily find, access and view information.

About the County

Founded in 1944, Lac Ste. Anne County is a municipal district in central Alberta, Canada. It is located in Census Division 13, roughly 45 minutes northwest of Edmonton. The County's administrative office is located at 56521 Range Road 65. Its namesake comes from its largest body of water, Lac Ste. Anne.
