New Electoral Division Boundaries

For more than ten years, Lac Ste. Anne County Councils have wrestled with the growing inequity of the current divisional boundaries due to population growth.Using the 2016 Federal Census Data to better reflect the current population, County Council has approved new boundaries that will take effect for the municipal election being held in October this year.

Important Notice - Taxes Are due

Taxes are due and payable by June 30th, 2017. Any current tax amounts that remain unpaid after June 30th, 2017 will be subject to a 6% penalty on July 1, 2017.

The County Administration Office will be open Friday June 30th, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm.

Highway and Bridge Construction Underway

The Public Works department has scheduled a series of highway and bridge consrtruction operations throughout the County between June and late August. Construction activities will include paving, grading, milling and line painting. As a result, traffic will be restricted on affected roadways. Drivers are thanked for their patience during the delays caused by this roadwork.

Summer Programs Registration Now Open

The wait is finally over! Our fantastic 2017 Adventure LSAC brochure was delivered to local elementary schools on Friday, June 9 to be distributed to County families. Hard copies of the brochure are also available around your community in places such as libraries, grocery stores and municipal offices. About the County

Founded in 1944, Lac Ste. Anne County is a municipal district in central Alberta, Canada. It is located in Census Division 13, roughly 45 minutes northwest of Edmonton. The County's administrative office is located in the Hamlet of Sangudo. Its namesake comes from its largest body of water, Lac Ste. Anne.
