EDITH Fire Drill Program Coming to County

In a bid to increase awareness of fire safety in the home, Lac Ste. Anne County Fire Services will introduce its Exit Drills in the Home (EDITH) program to local schools this fall. The program's mascot, Edith the Bear, will travel home with each participating student along with easy-to-follow instructions on conducting a proper fire drill exercise.

Bridge Maintenance

The Public Works department is again proceeding with bridge repair projects throughout the County beginning Monday, August 28th, 2017, on Range Road 70 north of Township 590.

About the County

Founded in 1944, Lac Ste. Anne County is a municipal district in central Alberta, Canada. It is located in Census Division 13, roughly 45 minutes northwest of Edmonton. The County's administrative office is located at 56521 Range Road 65. Its namesake comes from its largest body of water, Lac Ste. Anne.
