ALUS Tour 2017

Parkland County and Lac Ste. Anne County presents the 2017 ALUS Tour.

Join us as we tour ALUS projects in the Sturgeon Headwaters and Lake Isle Sub-watersheds. Refreshments, lunch, and transportation provided. The event is free and will take place on Saturday, August 26 from 9:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m at Magnolia Hall 6504 Township Road 534A, Parkland County.

EDITH Fire Drill Program Coming to County

In a bid to increase awareness of fire safety in the home, Lac Ste. Anne County Fire Services will introduce its Exit Drills in the Home (EDITH) program to local schools this fall. The program's mascot, Edith the Bear, will travel home with each participating student along with easy-to-follow instructions on conducting a proper fire drill exercise.

Noxious Weed Information

Recently, a concerned resident posted on the Town of Onoway’s Facebook page about Lac Ste. Anne County spraying in residential areas. This article is designed to address the large variety of questions and concerns that were brought up in the comments section as a result of this post.

About the County

Founded in 1944, Lac Ste. Anne County is a municipal district in central Alberta, Canada. It is located in Census Division 13, roughly 45 minutes northwest of Edmonton. The County's administrative office is located in the Hamlet of Sangudo. Its namesake comes from its largest body of water, Lac Ste. Anne.
