County Advises Ratepayers in Advance of Postal Strike

The looming postal strike has left some residents concerned about how a possible interruption in postal service may affect their business with Lac Ste. Anne County services.

Lac Ste. Anne County accepts multiple forms of payment for services including online banking, telephone banking and in-branch payments, as well as payments made in person at the Administration Office. We accept credit cards for all services except tax accounts.

If a postal strike occurs and payment has been submitted by mail, Lac Ste. Anne County will honour the postmark on the envelope. If a penalty has been mistakenly applied, once confirmation of the postmark is made the penalty will be reversed.

Those with any further questions or concerns regarding this matter are encouraged to contact the Administration Office at 780.785.3411.
