Fire Advisory in Effect

 

A Fire Advisory has been declared for Lac Ste. Anne County effective April 30, 2018 at 12:00 Noon.

Please be advised as of 12:00 Noon today April 30, 2018 a Fire Advisory is in effect until further notice.

As drying conditions persist, the County will NOT be authorizing any new Fire Permits or Fireworks Permits until further notice.

Currently issued Fire Permits for burning will be allowed with extreme caution and continuous monitoring. Burn barrels, cooking or warming fires in approved fire pits will be allowed subject to conditions.

Additional information on allowable fires may be found on www.albertafirebans.ca.

Please report any wildfire to 9-1- 1 with exact location to assist Lac Ste. AnneCounty Fire Services in locating and extinguishing these fires in a timely fashion. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.

About the County

Founded in 1944, Lac Ste. Anne County is a municipal district in central Alberta, Canada. It is located in Census Division 13, roughly 45 minutes northwest of Edmonton. The County's administrative office is located at 56521 Range Road 65. Its namesake comes from its largest body of water, Lac Ste. Anne.
