Blue-green Algae Advisory

Please be advised that blue green algae has been visually confirmed at Paddle River Dam (August 4), Lessard Lake (July 14), Lac La Nonne (July 14), and Lake Isle (June 21).

Blue green algae advisories will be posted later today on the following AHS website; http://www.albertahealthservices.ca/zones/north-zone.aspx Information and the advisory will also be posted at various locations along the lake.

About the County

Founded in 1944, Lac Ste. Anne County is a municipal district in central Alberta, Canada. It is located in Census Division 13, roughly 45 minutes northwest of Edmonton. The County's administrative office is located in the Hamlet of Sangudo. Its namesake comes from its largest body of water, Lac Ste. Anne.
